To support our institutions during this challenging time, JSTOR and our participating publishers are making an expanded set of content freely available to our participating institutions where students have been displaced due to COVID-19.

COVID-19 Credits

C19 Credits: The C19 credits will be available only for use through June 30, 2023 and not beyond. The status of all credits are indicated on your monthly financial statement. These credits can be used for renewals or new business. There will not be future reminders sent on this matter.

Reduced AAF Incentive

Offer: Institutions that are eligible for the JSTOR Archive COVID Extended Access Program receive a reduced AAF (up to 7 months Dec - June based upon the time of licensing). At the time of order for new acquisitions, institutions will be invoiced for the applicable 2022 AAF prorated and assessed for July - December 2023.

Effective Until: June 30, 2023

This offer applies to: both JSTOR Archive/Thematic/Primary Source collections.

Eligibility Details for Archive, Thematic, and Primary Source collections

Eligible Institutions

  • Communities: Universities and Four-Year Colleges, Community Colleges, and For-Profit Academic Institutions
  •  Territories: Worldwide
  • Must be a current participant. Participant defined as:
    •  Licensing any Archive Thematic or Primary Source Collection
    • On a current agreement
    • Licenses Books in any model
    • Licenses Artstor

Eligible Collections: Thematic, Archive, Primary Source

One Time Payment Model: Yes. Applicable savings on One-Time Payment equal up to 6 months of AAF can be applied. DOES NOT apply to One-Time Payment Conversion.

Quotes and Quote Requests

  • Indicate the time period Outreach Support should use to calculate fees
    • Examples: Quote for Arts & Sciences I with a start date of March 1st, waived AAFs March - June; Quote for Arts & Sciences IV to start immediately; waive AAFs December - June
  • Confirm Contact for Quote
  • Add any applicable special notes or requests

Invoicing and Pricing Details

  • Standard Savings rates applicable on ACF (Consortium)
  • Institutions will be assessed an ACF and a 2021 Invoice with AAF waived until July 2021, calculated from the collection license start date.
  • 2022 Invoices before January 1st can be split into:
    • One ACF Invoice
    • One AAF Invoice for 2022 with 6 months of AAF

Incentive cannot be applied retroactively to acquisitions already completed.
