This guide will give an overview of resources for subjects and collections on JSTOR. JSTOR is an online digital library of academic journals, ebooks, and primary sources. Use the pages to navigate to the subjects you are interested in. 

Accessing JSTOR

Access to JSTOR will depend on on affiliation with a school, your school's preferred login method, and if you are on or off-campus. To determine the best way to get access to JSTOR, we recommend checking out the various options listed on our Need Help Logging in to JSTOR page.

Basic Search on JSTOR

  • Place words within quotation marks to search for exact phrases (“to be or not to be”).
  • Use Boolean operators to construct a better search (“tea trade” AND china).
