What it is
JSTOR is piloting a new Evidence-Based Acquisition (EBA) cycle, running from January to December 2024, as part of the Books at JSTOR program. Since 2018, the JSTOR EBA program has operated on a July-to-June cycle, which has been highly effective for hundreds of institutions globally. However, based on feedback, we understand the advantages of a calendar year cycle for many libraries. We are excited to now offer this alternative for new 2024 EBA program participants.
We are offering special savings on title selections at the end of the cycle for new participants in the EBA 2024 program:
- 50% savings off of purchase price of book titles for institutions ordering EBA prior to December 31, 2023
- 40% savings off of purchase price of book titles for institutions ordering EBA between January 1 to March 31, 2024
Who is eligible
- Institutions who are new to the EBA program or withdrew from the EBA program.
- Existing EBA program participants are NOT eligible (at this time) to participate in the new calendar year cycle, or for the early order savings for the 2024 program.
